3rd Reunion Letter-(Monday)Feb 24, 2003
Today the THIRD and FINAL Reunion Letter was mailed to the 73 of our CLASS who do not have email.  The first letter went out November 15, 2002  andto 96 and only 21 have replied to date.  Of the 252 of you who have email there are still 70 who have not replied.  We still need a response from 152 of our CLASS.  One hundred twenty two of you have said you plan to attend, however only 21 of you have sent a check.  (Where is the Class of 1963)

The most important thing at this time is getting your hotel arrangements made if you need a room.  I must finalize our block of rooms at The Ramada Inn by about April 1, 2003, because of the Mizzou/Nebraska game, which is the same weekend as our reunion.

Next item of importance is for you to let me know if you plan to attend, if you haven't done so already.  I need your remittance by June 1, 2003, if you want the $60.00 per person PRICE.  As of June 1,2003 you will need to pay for all events individually.  The $60.00, early registration price, will result in a savings of $11.00 if you attend all events.  But most importantly the early registration, allows the committee some flexibility to finlaize details and make it a better reunion for everyone.

LODGING:  @ Ramada Inn (MUST KNOW BY APRIL 1ST, 2003 - IF YOU WANT A ROOM)
I must take care of lodging arrangements right away because our reunion is the same weekend as the
MU-NEBRASKA home football game. I can get a block of rooms but I need an exact amount of rooms
needed, because once I commit, I will be stuck with the bill to pay for the rooms.  The cost on
football weekends is $119.00 per night and our rate will be $79.00 per night or less (with a minimum of
2 nights).  I am working on a little better rate, but it will be easier to negotiate once I have a count.  You
must not call the Ramada direct as the reservations department won’t know about this package.  All you
need to do is contact me for now and I will be responsible for the rooms until later this year when you
can use a credit card to confirm your reservation.  I will be glad to take care of arrangements but you
must let me know immediately if you will want a room at the Ramada Inn for the REUNION.

    I ask that everyone make a $60.00 per person donation to attend the reunion which will include
Horsd'Oeuvres Friday night, School & Bus Tour Saturday morning, picnic Saturday, dinner & dance
Saturday night and brunch on Sunday morning.  It would be appreciated if you send your donation as
soon as you can.  All proceeds from the reunion, less minor operating expenses, will once again be given
to Hickman High School, in a manner to be determined by the committee.  (If you can afford to
and care to make a larger donation, that would be great!  Do not miss this reunion because of the cost,
please contact me to make arrangements.  I hope this will be the largest attendance we have ever had
and I sincerely hope you will make every effort to join us for this REUNION!)
If you prefer not to make a $60.00 donation, you must send the correct amounts for each event you plan
to attend.  These prices are per person and you must be specific as to which events and how many will be attending.
