Hello Kewpie, Ok, I must confess, for several years I have been thinking how KooL it would be if there was a scholarship given ever year at Hickman High School by those Kewpies who have registered and use my webpage, www.kewpie.net. Well after the 45th reunion of my class, the Class of ’63, just three weeks ago, and my classmates deciding to start a scholarship in my name, “The Charley Blackmore’s Class of ’63 Scholarship”, I decided it’s time the thousands of Kewpies who have registered at www.kewpie.net be given the opportunity to do the same. Well the time has come, it is for real and the scholarship is called the “kewpie.net Scholarship.” I am really excited about what this can do for the future of Hickman High School and hope you will get excited with me. It will be given based on outstanding service to Hickman High School and or the community. The students also must exemplify the “Kewpie Spirit” and have a desire to preserve the Kewpie spirit after graduation. In ten years www.kewpie.net has grown to over 4,500 Kewpies registered and over 500 people visit the webpage daily. This scholarship will make the need for www.kewpie.net even more meaningful to me and I hope to you. I also hope this will become much more than a scholarship, perhaps a way to preserve the “Kewpie Spirit” and let the students of Hickman High School know how important they are to www.kewpie.net and you.
