Born in Columbia on May 17, 1945.
Attended Ridgeway Elementary K-6.
Attended Jefferson Jr. 7-9.
Attended HHS 10-12.
After graduation attended Machine Automation School in K.C.
Joined the U.S. Navy in January 1964.
Was stationed in San Diego, Ca. for 2 years at the North Island Air Station.
Was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan for 2 years at the Naval Supply Depot.
After serving in the Navy, I came back to Columbia, and I started work at the University Missouri.
I have worked for the University for 35 years. I worked at the Data Processing Center, the Electrical Engineering Computer Center, the Math Science Computer Center and Telecommunication Data Center. I attend the University for a couple of semesters. I was eligible for early retirement, but because I still have 2 teenager girls living at home I did not take it.
I enjoy traveling and have traveled to Europe twice when my brother was stationed in Germany. I went many times to Colorado for skiing, both with friends and with the Columbia Ski Club. I have also traveled to many other places around the good old USA, and also to the Bahamas. I got married late it life, at age 40, but we are now separated. I got involved with TaeKwonDo after age 50, and competed in the Showme State Games. I earned a 1st degree Black Belt.
